Star Wars VII : Trailer N°1

It might feel like the shortest 88 seconds of your life—but the first trailer for director J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally here!!!

"There has been an awakening... Have you felt it?" opens the trailer, which gives us a glimpse of updated Imperial Stormtroopers and X-Wing fighters.
The teaser gives fans a first look at the Millennium Falcon, a new droid, and a mysterious cloaked villian wielding a cross-shaped lightsaber.(You can see this villian on the last picture) 

The return of the Millenium Falcon

So we discover new characters with the British actor John Boyega in a stormtrooper suit on a desert planet. We imagine immediately that it’s Tatouin, and it’s for me the most probable deduction, because Tatouin is an emblematic planet where were born Anakin and Luke.
Then we discover other characters: The actress Daisy Ridley who is on a flying machine. She is on a desert planet too; maybe she will meet the character played by John Boyega? And is she a Skywalker? Because she looks like Natalie Portman, so she can be a child from Leia for example. Than we meet an X-wings pilot playing by Oscar Isaac, who is doing an attack over a sea. But we don’t know where it is...
However we have no sign of the old familiar faces Luke, Leia, Han, R2D2, Chewbacca... But J.J. Abrams certifies that the emblematic “heroes” will be there.

However there is some passage, which leaves me perplexed. In deed we discover a new droid that has a sphere by way of the legs. The situation is for me a little ironical, because this part of the trailer looks like a football advertisement. I think that’s not in the Star Wars mentality, but we don’t have a lot of pictures so we can’t judge for the moment.

Then I saw a problem in the continuity of the events: The moment where we discover Daisy Ridler, she is on a flying machine and has a very long weapon in her left hand. When she starts the machine, her weapon disappears. I think that’s a very big fault from the developer, but they have time to correct this.
In a last time, I think that the lightsaber is completely off topic. First when we see the red colour, we imagine that the character is a new Sith Lord, who will be an enemy of Luke. But when the “sides” of the saber open, I think that it discredit the Sith lord, because it’s not “normal form” that we usually see in Star Wars. You can see this saber on the next picture...

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT

 

 

Today I want to talk about STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT. In this video game you fight in epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets and rise through the ranks playing as the heroic Rebellion or the evil galactic Empire. I think it’s the best game for a fan of Star wars like me. Indeed you can fight through a lot of troops, or pilot your favourite Star Wars combat vehicles like Snowspeeders, Speeder Bikes, and AT–ST's...

I was disappointed that there was no Star Wars Battlefront on the PS3, that’s why I conserve my PS2 only to play on Battlefront II. However, in 2015 the developer of Battlefield 4 (DICE) will use their motor Frostbite 3 to do a new Star Wars Battlefront for the PS4. I think it will be one of the games of year with the best graphics you can find for PS4 for the moment.

 

That’s a little video wherein you can see the development of the game with the graphic motor Frostbite 3. I’m very impressed by the graphic’s.

Star Wars " The Force Awakens "

Yes!!! For one week, we have know the title of Star Wars VII! JJ Abrams teams and Lucasfilm continue the tradition of George Lucas. "The Force Awakens" also consists of only three words too, like the other Star Wars. Force is a key element of the Star Wars mythology, and I think it will certainly be at the heart of the plot of this new film.

But what is the Force at the end of the two trilogies? Luke, with the help of his father, killed the Emperor, the black lord of the Sith. Together they fulfilled the prophecy and restored "balance" in the Force. Luke becomes the last of the Jedi Order, which he barely knows concretly.

So I have a lot of questions that I can’t answer for the moment. What he accomplishes during the 30 years between The Return Of The Jedi and The Force Awakens? What connection does he have with the Force? A new menace will disturb this balance and then "wake up" the Force? Or is it finally the Force at her peak, now that the imbalance is broken?

So there are to many questions, and I think one year is too long for me to had all the answer to this questions.

The Jedi were responsible for maintaining the peace in the galaxy. For 900 years Master Yoda formed Jedi to accomplish this mission. But during one mission, all the Jedi except Obi wan Kenobi and Master Yoda died. This disaster was ordered by the Sith, which were only two. So the big question is: how is it possible?

In a first time the dark lord of the Sith (Palpatine), who recruited Dark Vader, was a supreme chancellor of the republic, so he often was with the Jedi to arrange conflict in the galaxy. I don’t understand how he could turn a complete army against the Jedi without the Jedi present sentiments. Indeed Master Yoda who can “see into the future” and who is known as the most powerful Jedi, doesn’t anticipate anything... So there is a little problem for me because he was often near Palpatine and past the dark side of the power which lives in the Lord.

Then I cannot explain why any Jedi saw anything through the clones because Jedi can influence low spirits (and clones have very low spirits). In fact, Jedi always fight with clones, so I think that it’s impossible and that Yoda could have prevented the death of the Jedi.

So these the questions that I have about this aspect of the Story; if you have answers, I will be happy to talk about with you.

The best saga ever

Today I want to share with you my addiction to star wars. In fact, when I was a little boy, every day I  past a Star Wars movie. I began Monday with the first episode and I finished Saturday with the last. So, every week I Watch the complete saga! You can then imagine that I’m crazy... But I’m just passionate.

I encourage you to watch this saga because I think it’s a very attractive and captivating story. Moreover it’s an unusual story in an unusual universe; you will never see it in another film. I know what many girls will say: “It’s a guy’s film...” but that’s wrong. In fact, Star Wars is based on the love story between Anakin and Padmé and the consequences that this involves. It’s then a saga for everyone and I encourage you to watch it because I can’t imagine that someone can die without having seen Star Wars.

If you already saw Star Wars once or twice, I think you must see it once again because the story is too complicate, there are too many details and different short stories, which have an impact for the rest of film. Moreover I think the Star Wars universe  is very wide and if you want to take pleasure in discovering every corner of the biggest galaxy of all time, it’s important to watch the saga.

Then if you're still not convinced, you can compare Star Wars with the other saga you know. In fact, if you like the long story which takes place on many films like Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings, for example, I recommend Star Wars to you because the evolution of the characters and the consistency the story between all the episodes fascinate me a lot. Star Wars VII

 

Today I’m going to talk about the thing that I’m the most interested about Star Wars : the release of Star Wars VII.

Stars Wars episode VII, which the whole title isn’t announced yet, is a movie produced by J.J Abrams. The movie will released during summer 2015.

This movie is the sequel of the VIth episode , " Return of the jedi ", but there are no more details. J.J. Abrams said : " The story will focus on a new generation of heroes ". Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will play their 30 year old former roles which are Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo. George Lucas gave his old story projects for the new trilogy to Disney. A Lucasfilm spokesman stated to the Entertainment Television channel that the story of the VIIth episode will be unreleased and will not be a Star Wars book adaptation.

As a huge fan of the Star Wars saga, I have been a little bit worried since this new episode was announced. Indeed, I think that the time between the release of the 6th episode and the 7th episode is too long, and I’m curious about the way that the story will continue given that the actors are getting old.

I am also worry about the film script because the story of the 6th episode let us think that Luke killed the Sith… But what will Star Wars be without a fight between Sith and Jedi ?

This is why I am wondering if the Sith will be there, and if yes, how did they survive ?

Moreover I hope the fact that Lucasart isn’t producing the movie anymore will not change the atmosphere of the Star Wars saga…

There are a lot of questions behind this movie. Unfortunately, we have to wait until this summer to finally discover the sequel to the biggest saga ever…

Darth Vader, part 1

Anakin Skywalker, a little boy who is a fan of mechanics, who lives on a deserted planet named Tatooin, dreams of being a Jedi. Jedi are knights, guardians of peace, who protect the galaxy with lightsaber and the Force.

One day, he must take part in a module race to help a Jedi, Qui Gon Jinn, who is trapped on Tatooin. He wins this race and the Jedi feels his hidden skill. In fact, his Midiclorien rate is higher than 20 000, which means over the master yoda’s rate who formed Jedi since 900 years.

Qui Gon Jinn offers to train him, and Anakin left his little planet.

In a fight against Darth Maul (A Sith Lord), Qui Gon dies and his Padawan Obiwan Kenobi just named in the rank of jedi, keeps the formation of the little Anakin.

Once he becomes an adult, he falls in love with the princess Padmé Amidala, the princess of Naboo.

In his nightmares, he sees her dying in the near future. That’s why he wants to be the most powerfull jedi ever to save her. But the jedi don’t teach this part of the force. Thus, he joins the Sith and the dark side of the force to learn this power. But he doesn’t save Padmé and fights with his master Obiwan to destroy the jedi. He loses his legs and an arm and becomes Darth Vador with his legendary mask.

But at the same time, Padmé had enough time to give birth to twins...

 

I think Anakin skywalker’s story is one of the more important story in Star wars, because he allows the sith to destroy a big part of the Jedi. However I think that this story is very difficult to understand if we only one time saw the saga, because there is a lot of little significant details. That’s why, I encourage you to watch the saga!
